Filming and editing of a storytelling experience as part of the Bioregional Weaving Labs (BWL) Collective.
I contributed to the filming and editing of a networked documentary that showcases how diverse bioregions across Europe are regenerating their landscapes. The project spans regions from southeastern Spain (AlVelAl territory) to Austria, Greece, Ireland, the Netherlands, Poland, and Romania—highlighting transformative initiatives that are reshaping the future.
The Bioregional Weaving Labs Collective, co-initiated by Ashoka & Commonland and co-created with Ashoka Fellows, The Weaving Lab, Presencing Institute, and OpEpa, is a growing alliance of organizations weaving together key actors across Europe with a shared purpose: to drive systemic change. By focusing on bioregional landscapes and cultivating leadership communities, the initiative aims to mobilize and support 1 million changemakers to restore, protect, and regenerate 1 million hectares of land and sea in Europe by 2030.
This experience was filmed in the Altiplano Estepario of southeastern Spain, in collaboration with Antonio G. Herrero (AlVelAl)
